Up to their necks again - 20-06-2009Up to their necks again, On Wednesday the Spitfire Explorer unit travelled to Westbrook Bay to help 1st Garlinge cubs build sandcastles with a twist on the sands. The first job of the evening was to help the cubs dig a deep hole which each explorer was then invited to get in, the cubs then covered each Explorer over with sand right up to their necks the only part allowed to remain uncovered was their heads. The idea was then to build sandcastles on the mounds, decorate and put a moat round their explorer. The winning team was Ria's who each won a box of chocolates. A really good fun evening was had by cubs and explorers alike. Check the photo's on our website. | Upcoming eventsLatest newsSurvival Camp at Quex |
